Hi.
Following on the SHIFT topic.
The Counter-Strike 1.6 Internet Data Rates.
What is that?
Something to do with the Internet Data Transfer between the Server and the Player.
Why is this important?
This is important because if one of the Internet Data Transfer settings is set to a wrong value, this will result in the lags for the Player.
The Internet Data Transfer between the Server and the Player is regulated by the following settings (Console Commands):
Console Command: rate - sets how much data the Player can receive from the Server. The maximum and the best value is 20000.
Console Command: cl_cmdrate - the amount of data that the Player sends to the Server. Best setting is +5 to your maximum FPS.
If the cl_cmdrate value is set wrong, the red dots appear in the Internet Data Graph while playing on the Server. The Internet Data Graph is enabled by entering the Console Command net_graph 1 into the Console, and disabled by the net_graph 0 Console Command.
If the cl_updaterate value is set wrong, the orange and the yellow dots appear in the Internet Data Graph while playing on the Server. The Internet Data Graph is enabled by entering the Console Command net_graph 1 into the Console, and disabled by the net_graph 0 Console Command.
If the ""ex_interp** value is set wrong, the Player will have problems with the bullet hit detection on the Other Players on the Server.

So...
rate "20000"
cl_cmdrate "MAXIMUM FPS + 5"
cl_updaterate "100"
ex_interp "0.01"
The important question is:
What is the sv_maxupdaterate setting on the Fleshas.lt Servers?
Tenqueue bro
You are very welcome!

Server sv_minupdaterate is 10 and sv_maxupdaterate is 5 good rate server or no????
